Lesson 1
Title: Learning the Causes of Extinction
Grade: 3-5
Overview: There are five major causes of extinction: habitat loss, an introduced species, pollution, population growth, and over consumption. Through the activity, students will create a list of reasons why animals can become extinct.
Lesson 2
Title: Pollution Solutions
Grade: 1-5
Overview: The dangers of over- consumption and pollution are reviewed and some activities are suggested to help engage in solutions for taking better care of the environment and our planet. Students asked: What can you do to take better care of the earth so it takes better care of you?
Lesson 3
Title: Comparing Decimals
Grade: 6
Overview: Students will play a game in which they choose cards and choose the best place to put the number they have chosen in order to get the highest number possible. This should not be the first introduction to the topic.
